Ferrera Palace (Culture House)
Chapter 2/8 · Luarca
On our right, the Culture House; on the left, the police station. Both buildings are part of the old Ferrera palace, also called La Moral or Navia Arango, a group of three buildings from the 16th to the 18th century joined by passageways and an arch.
Today it serves as a library and Culture House. The oldest part has a tower that is probably older than the 13th century.
We continue to the seaside cemetery. It is the longest stretch of the walk, about 800 metres, and uphill.
