Paseo de la Grúa and the Mingote panels
Chapter 2/8 · Ribadesella
We are on the Paseo de la Grúa, at the tip of the quay. Here are the Mingote panels: six ceramic panels, about three metres long each, that tell the history of the town from prehistory to today.
In front of each panel there is a sign with a button: when you press it, a recording explains the period it shows. The last panel, Modernity, ends with the then Prince and Princess of Asturias, Felipe and Letizia.
From the end of this promenade we climb towards the Guía chapel.
